The food was really good and we enjoyed the tropical pool area. Being close to a key tourist destination was handy, as we made the most of visiting a nearby city.
The bungalows were in a very poor condition, with makeshift repairs holding everything together. The lighting was inadequate and we had issues with the skylight flapping around.

Overpriced and Overrated If you want an overpriced, mediocre hotel experience for New Year's Eve, this might be a good choice. the buffet food was good, and the pool area was family friendly. There were many Spanish families around, which was a nice change. the location next to a mall and train station might be convenient for some people.
Dirty and Run, down the bungalows and complex were dirty and run, down, in desperate need of renovation. Our bungalow had broken light bulbs and a loose skylight that flapped in the wind, annoyingly.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The tropical feel, big pools, and palm trees created a lovely atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool area was perfect for families. We really enjoyed being surrounded by local Spanish families, which was a refreshing change from the usual mix of international tourists. The location was great, with a mall right underneath the hotel and a train station nearby. It only took us about 15 minutes to reach Cadiz by train, and the return ticket was affordable.
None.

Great buffet, friendly staff, tropical ambiance, family-friendly pool area, local Spanish holidaymakers, convenient location above a mall and near the train station.
Nothing not to like.
